Damn the Randos!
I have recently noticed an alarming amount of replies to post by completely random users. What's worse than that is all these replies seem to be of a completely solicitive nature. You are like hey sweet some one cares about some dumb thing I have to say. Then wammo, you get this crap, "Anonymous said...". From what I have compiled thus far is that it is always a formulaic response. I have narrowed it down to these basic three templates:

The thing I despise the most (besides of course the stupid smiley) is the fact for have of a second they say something and try to act like people, when obviously they are just rando morons with an e-buiseness. Gees. Anything for a buck. But what I am still not quite shure of how do they fing you? Is it some sort of auto-scheme worked out with google? Or, does some low life just keep constantly scanning new blog post for hours on end? Something must be done here.

Wow! Great Post! This is definitely one of the best blogs I have seen today! You should check out my blog sometime, that is if Industrial Rubber Washers are of any interest to you! :) We also have a ton of totally rocking information on other leading industrial materials like silicone, nitrile, Teflon, and the ever controversial synthetic, EPDM! Dude, this is one blog you will totally NOT want to miss. It's gonna rock! :)
Okay. I think I've figured out a way to deter the Rando spammers. Blogger does offer a word verification field (which you can see below) and--I don't know how they spam us, but I'm sure it's automated somehow. If you want to add this feature to your blogs, go to the blogger dashboard, click the "settings" tab, then the "comments" tab, and then look for the "word verification" bullet about halfway down the page. That is all.
