Welcome to Ollivander's

Ollivanders

The wand chooses the wizard, Mr. Potter, it is not always clear why. I think it is clear, however, that we can expect great things from you. After all, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named did great things--terrible! yes, but great.

Like a rollin’ thunder chasing the wind

I'm posting this mainly to knock Jason's entry from the top spot. Who walks into Ollivander's shop and doesn't bring a picture?!? I don't think Jason should be posting here, just as I don't think his head should remain attached to his neck. But that's just me.

Anyhow, I've always thought Harry Potter's scar should look something like the lightning in these pictures. The movies and book illustrations always depict it as a clean little zigzag. I say if he took a killing curse to the face as a baby, his scar should look like his skull almost split open. (Especially considering certain transfers that allegedly took place.) It'd be a little more disfiguring, and he'd have more incentive to cover it with his hair. In my opinion, a nasty scar like this that extends from the top of his forehead down to his eyebrow would be much more impressive.

That is all.
